>South Korea’s representative rock bands FTIsland & CN Blue will be performing in LA under the CJ E&M Concert Brand M-Live.

According to CJ E&M on 27th, FTIsland and CN Blue will be holding a joint concert on 9th March at LA Nokia Theater, which can hold an audience capacity of 7,000. It is also the first time that the bands are doing a joint concert, drawing public’s attention.
The performance venue, LA Nokia Theater has been the performance stage for many famous artistes such as Eagles, Duran Duran, Lady Gaga, Kelly Clarkson and others.
Debuting in their teens, FT Island has obtained titles such as “Super Rookies” by getting 1st positions on music programmes. They were also ranked 1st position on the Japan Oricon chart, Taiwan and other asian music charts, holding a firm status in the asian music scene.
Having an experience of holding at least 100 performances before their debut in Japan, CN Blue attained 1st position within 5 days after releasing their debut album. Tickets for their solo concerts in Korea, Japan and other major asian cities were all sold out, securing their position of being the top band. Their debut single in Japan recorded a sales figure of 100,000 copies and they also received recognition at the Golden Disk Awards.
The bands’ management company, FNC Music said, “Besides advancing into LA, we have plans to do performance in Europe and other countries as well. We will return the support given by K-POP fans by putting up good shows for them.”
The organiser for M-Live concert, music department of CJ E&M, promised that, “With our years of experience in LA, we will actively support FTIsland and CN Blue in their overseas advancement.”
On the other hand, M-Live project which was formed in 2011, will continue to do promotions in partnership with local companies, using their extensive global network.
